Care plans

Essentials Care

$129/month

  • Uptime and SSL-certificate monitoring, with alerts to me, not you
  • Domain renewal reminders, so your web address never lapses
  • Monthly security check and updates: HTTPS, security headers, and CMS/plugin/dependency updates applied after a backup
  • Off-site backups where your host allows it
  • Up to 30 minutes of content edits per month (unused time doesn’t roll over)
  • A short monthly report in plain English
  • Email support, with a reply by the next business day (except announced time off)

Plus Care

$249/month

Everything in Essentials, plus:

  • Up to 2 hours of edits and improvements per month (unused time doesn’t roll over)
  • A quarterly accessibility check (automated axe scan, with fixes within your monthly hours) and a speed pass
  • Google Search Console setup and a monthly search report

One-time setup and hardening: $250. It covers a review of your site, fixing the quick security wins, and turning on monitoring. At checkout you pay the setup fee plus your first month ($379 for Essentials, $499 for Plus), then the monthly price. Setup is waived on annual plans; email me to set one up. Sites that need major repair are quoted first.

Month-to-month. Cancel anytime. Founding prices are held for the first five organizations.

Public-Data Dashboard Sprint

$1,500Founding price $950 for the first two organizations

One interactive dashboard (3–4 views) built from up to 3 public datasets relevant to your mission, such as CDC, Census, city data portals, or USDA, with plain-language notes on what the numbers do and don’t mean. Two revision rounds, delivered in 2–3 weeks. Paid in full at checkout. Hosting and upkeep can be added to any Care plan.

How it works

  1. 1Fit call (15 minutes)We talk about your site, your goals and what you need. If it isn’t a fit, I’ll say so.
  2. 2Simple agreementA short agreement with the scope, the price and what’s not included.
  3. 3SetupI take a backup first, then harden and update the site and turn on monitoring.
  4. 4Every monthChecks run automatically, I fix what needs fixing, and you get a short report.

What’s not included

  • Penetration testing. I only do security testing with your written authorization and a separate scope.
  • 24/7 emergency response. I work business days and reply by the next business day, except announced time off.
  • Hosting or domain fees from your providers. Those stay in your name.
  • Full redesigns. I quote those separately.

Questions

Do you need our passwords?
I need the least access that does the job, shared through a password manager, never by email. You keep ownership of every account.
What platforms do you support?
Static sites, React/Vite, and common CMSs. Ask on the fit call; if it isn’t a good fit, I’ll tell you.
Are you a company?
I work independently under my own name.
Is the dashboard “official”?
No. Dashboards I build are your organization’s tools, built from public data, and they say so clearly.
